Zorzor, Lofa County — It is with profound sorrow that the Kennedy and Kokulo Zazyzay families announce the passing of Madam Korto Kennedy, a respected leader and trailblazer in public service, who departed this life on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Curran Lutheran Hospital in Zorzor City. She was in her early sixties.

Madam Kennedy’s name became synonymous with service and integrity during her long tenure as head of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry assigned to Zorzor and Salayea Districts. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, extended family, and a wide circle of friends in Liberia and the United States of America, all of whom are united in grief and remembrance.

The remains of Madam Kennedy have been entrusted to St. Moses Funeral Parlors in Gbarnga, Bong County.
