The General Manager of the Substantial Trade Group of Companies, Mr. Attananse Kintiga, has been recognized and honoured for his unwavering commitment to job creation, stimulating local economic growth and empowerment and robust advocacy for the cocoa sector in Liberia.
Mr. Kintiga received the accolade from the management of Facts Television on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Making the presentation, the Managing Editor and Publisher of Facts Television, Mr. John Sackie Zayzay, praised Mr. Kintiga for his outstanding contributions to the cocoa sector and his continuous support in providing livelihoods for ordinary Liberians.
Zayzay disclosed that the management of Facts Television had closely observed the operations of the Substantial Trade Group of Companies over time, including visits to its facilities.
“You have been doing extremely well. You are exporting cocoa and providing livelihoods for many Liberians. A lot of young people are employed and are able to feed their families because of the opportunities you have created. Also, it’s important to note that you have also stimulated local economy and contribute to economic growth and development. ” Mr. Zayzay said.
He noted that Mr. Kintiga’s efforts significantly complement government initiatives aimed at reducing unemployment, particularly among young people.
According to him, the award was presented as a symbol of appreciation and remembrance, one that would stand as a testament to Mr. Kintiga’s service to the nation.
“This is something you can place in your living room, your office, or anywhere. Whenever you see it, you will remember that it was given to you by a national online platform—an institution made up of dedicated professionals working for Liberia and the Liberian people,” he added.
Responding to the certification, Mr. Kintiga expressed gratitude to the management of Facts Television for the recognition.
“Thank you very much for being here today. It is a very blessed and honorable day for me. I sincerely thank and appreciate Facts Television for this great initiative, both in my name and in the name of my company,” he said.
He added that the honor motivates him to do more for Liberia and encouraged media institutions to continue recognizing positive contributions to national development.
“I am very happy and proud of you. May God bless you in all your endeavors. Thank you so much,” Mr. Kintiga concluded.
Reading from the certificate, he stated that the Facts Television Certificate of Recognition 2025 was proudly awarded to Hon. Attananse Kintiga, General Manager of the Substantial Trade Group of Companies, in recognition of his exemplary leadership, dedication, and outstanding public service.
The certificate officially named Mr. Kintiga as Outstanding Cocoa Exploiter of the Year 2025–2026, citing his tireless and hardworking efforts in serving the people of Liberia and the global community.
