MONROVIA โ€” Minister of Commerce and Industry, Madam Dagoseh, has called on the Ministry’s Inspector General and inspection team to ramp up oversight activities nationwide while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and professionalism.

During a meeting with the Inspector General and members of the inspection team, Minister Dagoseh reviewed ongoing inspection operations and reinforced the Ministry’s commitment to protecting consumers and promoting fair trade practices across Liberia.

The Minister urged the team to intensify efforts in monitoring businesses and enforcing commercial regulations, emphasizing that rigorous oversight is essential to safeguarding the public and ensuring a level playing field for traders.

“We must remain committed, proactive, and accountable in the discharge of our duties,” Minister Dagoseh told the team. “Your work is critical to upholding the Ministry’s mandate and ensuring that businesses operate in full compliance with the law.”

She encouraged inspectors to carry out their assignments with integrity and impartiality, noting that transparent enforcement would strengthen public confidence in the Ministry’s regulatory functions.
