MONROVIA, Liberia – The Liberia National Police has warned restaurants and fast-food delivery services operating within Monrovia and its environs, following increasing reports of reckless driving by their motorcycle riders.

In a public notice issued April 9, 2026, the LNP said the dangerous practices violate traffic regulations and pose serious risks to other road users. The police have ordered all owners and operators of delivery motorcycles to immediately desist from such behavior and ensure full compliance with all traffic rules.

The LNP further warned that it will not hesitate to revoke permits granted to any entity whose riders are found violating traffic laws, particularly those operating along restricted routes within the city.

Deputy Chief of Police Sam K. Collins, Chief of Press and Public Affairs, signed the notice and urged all concerned parties to take the warning seriously and act accordingly.
