Plan International Liberia invites qualified consulting firms to submit quotations for the technical assessment and design of solar hybrid power systems at 10 selected health facilities across Liberia.
In partnership with the Ministry of Health (MoH), this initiative seeks to assess existing power systems at health facilities supporting GeneXpert services and determine whether repairs, upgrades, or new solar installations are required to ensure reliable electricity for laboratory equipment and essential healthcare operations.
Scope of Consultancy
The selected consulting firm will be responsible for:
- Conducting stakeholder consultations and detailed site assessments.
- Performing energy audits and evaluating existing power systems.
- Undertaking system sizing and engineering design.
- Preparing site-specific priced Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
- Developing technical specifications and Terms of Reference for the subsequent procurement of solar installation services.
