The Republic of Liberia’s Commissioner General at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, Ambassador Queen Juli Endee, has been honored with a prestigious role as one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) Women’s Forum. Scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 12:30 to 14:00 at the Women’s Pavilion, WA Space, Expo 2025 Osaka Yumeshima, the forum will focus on the theme “Empowering the Future: Women and Expos.” This event is organized in collaboration with the World Expo Museum to highlight women’s influential roles within the global Expo community.

Ambassador Endee stands out as a trailblazer, being the sole female representative from Africa among five distinguished women leaders invited to speak at the forum. The panel includes Commissioner Generals from Jamaica and Canada, alongside prominent figures from the arts and business sectors. Together, they will offer diverse perspectives on how women are shaping the evolving landscape of global Expos, driving inclusive progress, and fostering cross-sector collaboration.

Out of 54 African countries participating, Ambassador Endee’s selection underscores her exceptional leadership and the significant role Liberia plays on the international stage. The BIE, the authoritative organization that governs world Expositions, chose only five female speakers, emphasizing Ambassador Endee’s unique position as Africa’s voice at this influential forum.

In a statement prior to the event, Ambassador Endee expressed her deep gratitude to His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., Her Excellency Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Liberia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Hon. Jerolinmek Matthew Piah for their unwavering confidence and support. She pledged to faithfully represent Liberia by showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage, advancing economic diplomacy, and promoting the President’s developmental vision, known as THE ARREST AGENDA, at Expo 2025.

Ambassador Endee also highlighted her ongoing efforts in facilitating roundtable meetings and exploring business and investment opportunities for Liberia during the Expo.
