Monrovia— The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) has launched a major fundraising campaign aimed at constructing a modern party headquarters in Congo Town, Monrovia. The effort is being coordinated by the CDC Headquarters Construction Committee, which has officially opened channels for both financial and material contributions from partisans, sympathizers, and well-wishers across Liberia and the diaspora.

According to the committee, individuals wishing to make financial donations may do so through the United Bank for Africa (UBA), where special accounts have been created for the project. The United States Dollar account number is 53030030053372, while the Liberian Dollar account number is 53030030053389, both held in the name of the CDC Headquarters Construction Committee. Supporters who prefer mobile money transfers can contribute via MTN MoMo using the number 0881-727-272, Orange Money using the number 0777-222-444, TIP-ME using the code CIBMOOO51, or Sendwave using the number 0887444330.

For contributors abroad, the committee has also provided remittance details for swift wire transfers. Funds can be sent through Citibank New York, the correspondent bank, which operates under the SWIFT code CITIUS33 and ABA number 021000089. The beneficiary bank is United Bank for Africa (Liberia) Ltd., located at Broad and Nelson Streets in Monrovia, with a SWIFT code of UNAFLRLM. The designated beneficiary name is the CDC Headquarters Project Account, with the account number 53030030053372. The committee added that additional options such as Zelle and CashApp will soon be rolled out to expand contribution opportunities.

In addition to financial support, the committee is also welcoming donations of building materials, construction tools, and other essential equipment. Donors interested in making such contributions are encouraged to contact the committee through the mobile money numbers already provided for further instructions.

Meanwhile, officials of the CDC Headquarters Construction Committee have announced that the groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility will take place in the coming days, with the exact date to be communicated shortly.

In a statement released Thursday, Oliver N. Kyne, the Head of Communications and Public Affairs of the committee, thanked Liberians who have already shown support and appealed for continued cooperation. He emphasized that the initiative represents more than just the construction of a building but also serves as a symbol of institutional strength and a lasting foundation for the future of the CDC.

The CDC, widely recognized as one of Liberia’s largest and most influential political parties, has long operated from rented facilities. Party leaders say the planned state-of-the-art headquarters will not only provide a permanent home but also improve administrative efficiency, coordination, and engagement with supporters.
