The China Department of Commerce through the Vice President of Hunan International Business and Vocational College, Peng Tieguang has charged the Liberian Media Shift the Future of Liberia by enhancing the use of technological innovations to tell the positive traditional stories of Liberia.
Peng Tieguang intimated that the media serves as a bridge for cross-cultural communication and a pivotal force in advancing international cooperation while bridging cognitive divides. And that it profoundly shapes the quality of participation and development opportunities for nations in the process of globalization.

He asserted that by facilitating mutual learning and the convergence of ideas, the media aim to inject enduring vitality into enhancing the international communication capabilities of Liberian media and deepening dialogue between China, Liberia, and other African nations with the world.
The Vice President of Hunan International Business and Vocational College delivered the charge at a 14days Seminar on Media Communication Capacity for Liberia” which is intended to enhance Liberian Journalists capacity covering topics: “International Communication Local Narrative and Cross-Cultural Program; Let Al be the Super Producer in your pocket; The path to branding local media’s international communication: Building a talent ecosystem for the future; Innovation Pathways for Cultural Programs in the Omni-Media Era, Producing High-Quality New Media Content.”
Peng Tieguang urged participants to use the training opportunity by actively engaging in discussions and visits, integrating Chinese experience with Liberians national practices.
“We hope that all participants will cherish this training opportunity, actively engage in discussions and visits, integrate Chinese experience with your national practices, and explore a media capacity-building pathway suited to your own context. Meanwhile, we expect you to gain a comprehensive understanding of China’s social development and media ecosystem through cultural activities and become ambassadors for promoting media exchanges and cooperation and deepening the friendship between our two nations.”
The event which is organized by the Department of Aid to Foreign Countries –
Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of the People’s Republic of China, an executive agency of the State Council of China – responsible for formulating policy on foreign trade, export and import regulations, foreign direct investments, consumer protection, market competition and negotiating bilateral and multilateral trade agreements; is currently being held at the Hunan International Business Vocational College in the Dingzi Bay of Furong North Road in Changsha City.
Meanwhile, the Director of Human Resource Department – TV and Broadcast Intermediary Company Limited, Cheng Juan further charged the Liberian Media envoy to China to build a talented ecosystem for the Liberian Media.
She asserted that in order to continue as a media institution amaze the current decline of traditional media, it requires the cultivation of new talent by promotion and integration of media development that are leveraging the advantage of new media.
She charged media practitioners to delve more into independent intellectual property but also enjoy substantial autonomy in personnel, finances, and other areas, such as personnel selection and income
