–  Wife’s Allegations Spark Sexual and Domestic Violence Charges

Pastor Jenkins Johnson, the General Overseer of the More Changes Ministry, has been taken to the Monrovia City Court on charges of sexual violence, domestic violence, and persistent non-support, following a complaint from his wife, Margret M. Johnson.

According to the court document, Mrs. Johnson alleges that her husband physically assaulted her, including instances of beating and shoving, which resulted in bodily injuries. She claims that Pastor Johnson forcibly engaged in non-consensual anal intercourse during these attacks.

Additionally, Mrs. Johnson accuses Pastor Johnson of cohabiting with another woman in their shared home while she and their children live under the same roof. She also alleges that he has abandoned his financial responsibilities, including failing to pay for their children’s school fees and providing basic support. The couple has been married since 2013 and has three children together.

The court filing describes Pastor Johnson’s alleged actions as “unlawful, wicked, illegal, and intentional.” He was arrested and brought before the Monrovia City Court for legal proceedings, later paying USD $100 as support for the children.

Meanwhile, this is not Pastor Johnson’s first brush with the law. He was previously charged with kidnapping and criminal conspiracy in connection with a separate case from the previous week. This case involved accusations that he unlawfully removed a teenage boy from his home and was romantically involved with the boy’s mother, allegedly contributing to the breakdown of her marriage.

Pastor Johnson was detained at the Monrovia Central Prison for a week before being released into the custody of his lawyer. At the center of the dispute is Musu G. Quaye, who has also been charged alongside Pastor Johnson. During her court appearance, she admitted to having the boy with her but contended that she did not abduct him.
