“We had the opportunity to speak with one of our partners in India, who decided to be a blessing to us by sending down this huge consignment of medical equipment. Among them, we have brand new modern lab equipment – I mean cutting-edge lab equipment and X-ray machines. Our next step is distribution; we are going to send them to key public health facilities, which are our first target, and then health centers in rural communities. We will do our best to give to others, but this is our first focus because it’s where the needs are,” said the JNB Foundation Chair, who put the value of the consignment to over US$500,000.

As part of the support, he narrated that the partner has also agreed to send trainers down to teach technicians on the use and maintenance of the medical machines.
