MONROVIA: The Executive Secretary of the ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme Liberia Office Mr. Saah A. Kabba, has disclosed that, Liberia will host the 41st General Assembly of the ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme from November 18 to 22, 2025 under the theme “ECOWAS at 50 and sub-regional integration defining the structure of the ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme”
He said the ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance is a mechanism instituted by ECOWAS to guarantee victims of traffic accidents a prompt and fair compensation for the damage caused to them by non-resident motorists visiting their territory, from other Member States.
ECOWAS Brown Card is a motor insurance scheme designed to provide compensation for victims of road accidents caused by nonresident motorists traveling within ECOWAS member states.
