-Following Mrs. Guanue-Dolo appointment

GANTA CITY, NIMBA COUNTY – A female career agriculturist and educator, Mrs Gloria Wonser Guanue-Dolo has transitioned from classroom lecture and Student Services Coordinator to Dean of Student Affairs at the Liberia International Christian College in Ganta City, Nimba County.

Mrs. Guanue-Dolo brings over decade of progressive experience in higher education to the role. 

Most recently serving as Student Services Coordinator, she has worked with faculty, staff, and administrators to develop and implement strategic initiatives that measurably improve student outcomes. 

Through collaborative efforts during her tenure, LICC saw a significant reduction in students poor academic performance, probation and student advancement program.

“I have had a remarkable time at LICC, marked by my dedication to both teaching and student support. My efforts in advocating for Agriculture 131 to be a required course demonstrate my forward-thinking approach and commitment to enhancing students’ lives through practical skills,” Mrs. Guanue-Dolo revealed.

Transitioning from a volunteer classroom teacher to a Student Services Coordinator, Mrs. Dolo take on a new task as Dean of Student Affairs. 

Mrs. Dolo experience as a counselor highlights her commitment to the holistic development of students, ensuring they have the support required to navigate personal challenges effectively.

“Congratulations on my Master’s degree in 2023! This achievement undoubtedly enhances my qualifications and leadership capabilities. As I step into the role of Dean of Student Affairs, my vision and compassion will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and enriching environment for all students. We must leave LICC Better than We Met It,” she stated.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Guanue-Dolo has championed proactive-driven learning approaches to student success, notably leading the implementation of a comprehensive Agriculture 131 as a required course, which received authorization from the institution administration.

Her commitment to fostering collaborative environments has resulted in successful partnerships across academic and student services divisions, improving student satisfaction and retention outcomes.

Mrs. Guanue-Dolo’s experience in administration and her approach to making data-driven decisions will be invaluable to the Liberia International Christian College forward growth and development.

Her passion for helping others and focus on improving education, persistence, and academic principles align well with LICC’s mission of student success. 

Mrs. Guanue-Dolo’s leadership is integral to advancing the student affairs department.

She holds a Master degree in Agricultural, where she focused on advancing education in food security and production for Liberia next generations.

Her deep understanding of student success strategies and extensive leadership experience position her well to advance the Liberia International Christian College – LICC’s mission of student success.

Mrs. Guanue-Dolo concluded that LICC’s dedication to providing accessible, quality education resonates with her  student-centered leadership approach, adding that she looks forward to advancing LICC’s mission of empowering individuals to dream big while ensuring to provide the resources and support systems necessary for students success.
