BONG COUNTY, Liberia — The Ministry of Health has expressed deep concern over a growing crisis and the threat of pending strike actions by health workers at Phebe Hospital, warning that a work stoppage could severely disrupt essential healthcare services for citizens in Bong County and surrounding communities.
In a statement released Sunday, February 22, 2026, the Ministry acknowledged the grievances of the workers but emphasized the critical need to maintain uninterrupted care for vulnerable patients.
