Monrovia, Liberia – A local advocacy organization, “No To Rape Campaign” (NTRC), has donated LD$25,000 to the mother of a 15-year-old boy who was allegedly sodomized by a National AIDS Secretariat (NAS) official identified as Peter B. Jallah.
The donation was made on Monday, March 16, 2026, as part of the organization’s effort to support victims of sexual violence and their families during difficult times. NTRC, a non-profit organization founded by a group of young Liberians, focuses on advocating for the welfare of rape and sodomy victims, while also promoting justice against perpetrators and encouraging policy reforms aimed at protecting vulnerable people across the country.
Speaking during the presentation, Christopher Cummings, a representative of the organization, said the financial support is intended to show solidarity with the victim, identified as Little Hassan, who is currently facing serious mental and emotional stress following the alleged incident.
According to Cummings, the organization remains committed to ensuring that justice is served.
“We stand in full support of Little Hassan in his pursuit of justice through every legal means available,” he said. Cummings further noted that NTR’s mission goes beyond advocacy, stressing that the organization also provides support to victims to help them cope with trauma and improve their economic well-being.
Meanwhile, the mother of the 15-year-old boy expressed appreciation for the donation, describing the gesture as meaningful despite the modest amount.
Madam Sattarus Kennedy said the support from NTR has come at a critical time as her son continues to receive medical care.
“The money may seem small, but it means a lot to see young men and women coming together to support me and my son during this difficult time,” she said.
According to her, the donation will help cover medical expenses and treatment for her son as he continues his recovery. The alleged incident has sparked public concern, with many citizens and advocacy groups calling for a thorough investigation and justice for the victim.
