Monrovia, Liberia – July 21, 2025: A historic chapter in Liberia’s digital journey began this week at the Liberia Technology Summit, where Orange Liberia’s presence and vision lit up the national conversation.
Sponsored by Orange Liberia and supported by the Government of Liberia, the summit drew hundreds of stakeholders from across sectors. Speaking on behalf of President Joseph Boakai, Finance Minister Augustine Kpehe Ngafua highlighted Orange Liberia as a “catalyst of inclusion, infrastructure, and innovation.”
Representing CEO Jean Marius Yao, Zayzay Mulbah shared a vision that is now becoming reality: “A digital nation is not a luxury it is Liberia’s next leap. And we are honored to help build that leap with boldness and belief.” Orange Liberia’s contributions form the backbone of this transformation: Tier III+ Data Center being built in Buchanan — a leap toward data sovereignty.
Over 10,000 youth trained in free digital programs.
Millions in direct investments, strengthening education, health, and small businesses.
The Max it app is unifying digital access across sectors. Orange Energies is helping address energy poverty. And the Orange Foundation’s ongoing work is ensuring education and dignity reach every home.
In a final call to action, Mulbah stated: “We are ready. Liberia is ready. And together, we are building a digital nation — one citizen, one community, one innovation at a time.”
