Monrovia, Liberia: QNet has announced a strategic plan to combat impersonation and fraudulent activities in Liberia and across Africa, aims at restoring the company’s international reputation while safeguarding vulnerable consumers from scams.
In his opening remark on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the New Year Media Webinar organized by the company, Cherif Abdoulaye, Deputy Regional General Manager for QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, expressed the company’s commitment to doubling its efforts to fight scams falsely perpetrated in Liberia and across Africa in the name of QNET.
He clarified that the company’s focus is centred on redeeming its image, protecting vulnerable consumers from scams, fostering entrepreneurship, and contributing to sustainable economic growth across West Africa.
Providing the strategy, he disclosed that these plans are anchored by the highly anticipated V-Africa 2026, poised to be a landmark event for thousands of aspiring business leaders.
According to him, this major regional convention will serve as a dynamic platform for intensive training sessions, hands-on workshops, and exhibitions showcasing QNET’s premium product lines.
” It will provide invaluable insights into business development, financial literacy, and sustainable entrepreneurship, attracting legitimate attendees from across West Africa. The event is also expected to significantly boost local hospitality, transportation, and tourism sectors. Beyond V-Africa 2026, QNET will continue to intensify its efforts to educate the public about the company’s anti-scam campaigns and activities, legitimate direct selling, and its efforts to distinguish itself from fraudulent actors, while supporting entrepreneurs across the region.” He asserted.
The international business icon pointed out that this commitment is underpinned by a successful 2025, which saw continued growth in its wellness and lifestyle product portfolio and a strengthening market presence throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

On Thursday, 26 February, 2026, during a New Year Media Webinar organised by the company for Liberian journalists, over thirty seasoned media editors and reporters from different media organisations across the country attended and participated in the conversation.
During the online dialogue, participants raised questions regarding the dubious involvement of QNet impersonators in Liberia and across Africa, while urging the company to take immediate action to address the situation, on grounds that it is damaging the company’s reputation in Africa, especially Liberia.
Meanwhile, the company after listening to the various concerns, expressed commitment to addressing the issues, while extending appreciation to the Liberian journalists for following up on the matter.
However, they promise to provide training for Liberian journalists to know their products and activities, while also assuring to legally take action against those who will use the company name.
