-Commits to Raji’s removal as LFA President

Monrovia- The lead campaigner for the Raji-Must-Go campaign, Yudu N. Miller, has emphasized that he remains committed to his anti-Raji advocacy, and ensuring that Raji is replaced as President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA)

His clarification comes in the wake of allegations from some members of the opposition that he is engaging in double standards and working against their interests.

Early Tuesday, May 7, 2024, news broke out in many football chatrooms that Miller was crossing over in support of Mustapha Raji’s third-term presidential bid in the LFA 2026 Elective Congress.

This came up following Yudu’s one-time closest ally Madam Rochelle Favor Woodson announced her alignment with Raji.

She asserted that the leadership of the country football should not be entrusted to individuals who she alleged are lacking integrity, professionalism, and competence.
“Our LFA is not for disorganized, unprofessional, unqualified, and incompetent people,” she said.

Also in her statement, she promised to take with her Yudu to Raji, something which has created a mixed view in the football corridor.
But sources have revealed that one of the opposition members named withheld, accused Mr. Miler of engaging in double standards.

He wrote, “You think you can engage in double standards within our cycle. I have received information that you are supporting Raji’s third-term bid”.

However, addressing the allegations of double standards and a united opposition fight, Advocate Miller denied any involvement in such activities.

“My mother taught me not to be a betrayal, so I will never betray people who have done good for me and they want to do it for football in our country” he explained in tears.

He emphasized his dedication to a united opposition and clarified that he will never subscribe to any actions that would compromise the removal of Raji as the local football association president in 2026.

Miller stated that his loyalty lies with a united opposition and that he remains firmly supportive of anyone that wants to see football develop in the country.

While expressing his allegiance, the football advocate highlighted the importance of one united opposition for the common goal of improving football at all levels across all counties after the 2026 election.

“We need a strong team to defeat this nightmare that is wrongly running our football,” he said.

Furthermore, he emphasized that he will continue with his Raji Must Go protest in the coming days in other parts of Montserrado County to once again inform Liberians that Raji has allegedly failed football as president.

“By expanding protest to other parts of the country, more people who are not in the know of Raji’s wrongdoing will begin to know some of the reasons Lonestar hardly win games and our clubs are not performing in CAF Inter-club competitions.

Meanwhile, Yudu concluded his press conference by reiterating his dedication to those wanting to improve football in Liberia. He expressed gratitude to all members of the for their support and trust and pledged to continue working diligently to fulfill his responsibilities by bringing a leadership change at the Liberia Football Association.
