The CDC Youth League has accused Vice President Jeremiah Koung of being involved efforts to ensure in the establishment of the war and  Crimes courti Liberia.

CDC National Executive Committee said,  Koung, Vice President of Liberia has declared his unwavering support for the establishment of the War and Economic Crimes Court in Liberia, Mr. Koung’s acceptance comes in the wake of

the CDC’s consistent calls for the establishment of the War and Economic Crimes Court in

Liberia.

According to the executive committee, they are glad to learn that Mr. Koung has already started sourcing support to kickstart the sensitization engagement with citizens in Nimba county.

CDC National League Mr. Koung’s brightness  to summon financial and moral support from international organizations to begin reconciliation engagement with the citizens of Nimba as a means of sensitizing them about the importance of the War and Economic Crimes Court in Liberia is laudable.

They welcomed Vice President Jeremiah Koung unflinching support to giving justice to victims of the 14 years senseless war in Liberia.

The committee stressed that, an information under their environment suggests that Mr. Boakai has accepted to withdraw

the appointment of Cllr. Cooper Kruah and re-nominate Cllr. Jonathan Massaquoi as the new Justice Minister of the Republic of Liberia, due to the unethical dragnet surrounding Cllr Kruah, including his corruption history coupled with his involvement in a conflict of interest.

CDC youth League stateed that Cllr. Kruah shouldn’t be confirmed as minister of justice, because he has a share in a logging concession, and his close tie with Senator

Prince Y. Johnson

Cllr. Massaquoi is being favored by potential donors to the establishment of

the War and Economic Crimes Court as the ideal person to lead the charge in dispersing justice for war victims.

Meanwhile, the Youth League is  also  calling on the Liberian Senate to deny the nomination of Francis Sakala Nyumali as Internal Affairs Minister. Mr. Nyumali.

CDC Executive Committee Youth League said Boakai nominee Nyumali was seen on live camera organizing and arming militias with machetes and guns in Foya to hegemony tertror on opposition politicians and supporters which led to the death of several innocent partisans of the mighty CDC including the late Momo Tamba, Emmanuel Varkpana and many.

According to them, Internal Affairs Minister should be a person of moral standing who can unite the population but not a divisive character who has a track record of creating division and leading criminals to

murder innocent Liberians.

The CDC Youth League committee said they  refuse to believe that the Senate has no balls to stand up to President Boakai for the safety of the people who voted them into power and we are happy  that he will place the people above an imperial President for once this time around.

However, the Youth League is concerned about the continuous protests led by wives of AFL soldiers.

CDC youth League stated, they are concern on  the confirmation of the Defense Minister, they call on Mr. Boakai and the Senate not

to be unsympathetic to the dilemma of these women,

The Youth committee added that, the continuous actions created

inconvenience for travelers along the Robert International Airport highway this morning have the inclination to undermine our peace and stability.

The Committee said, they  can’t downplay the national security threat associated with their actions.

Meanwhile, the Youth League stated they quite disappointed that after succumbing and CDC Youth is ready for numerouspressures for Mr. Boakai to declare and publish his assets.

CDC Youth League said they are giving President Joseph Boakai an ultimatum to publish his assets or the Youth League will publish it for him.

According to they Mr. Boakai should be a man of his word though he lies his way to power through the stolen elections but assets declaration shouldn’t be a secret for anyone who presentsthemselves as an integrity and has good intentions for the people.

The CDC National Youth League stated, the  Committee want to welcome the call for audit but we want to admonish president Joseph Boakai to be holistic in spanning the auditing period from 2006 to 2017 and 2018 -2023 if only he is genuine

in the fight against corruption. If presidentBoakai is so sincere in his fight against corruption there are existing audit reports from 2011-2017 that he can begin to implement before even calling for an additional audit.

The youth League,  said president Joseph Boakai need to publish the audit report for the misuse

of the 650,000 USD intended for the inauguration or the 365,000 USD intended for the district

inauguration celebration.

The CDC Youth League Committee said if president Boakai can begin to implement the existing audit reports that cover the period from

2006 to 2011 and 2011 to 2017, we want to call on all former government officials of the CDC’s

government to not subject themselves to any audit.
