-Following the Death of More than Twenty-Five Persons 

Monrovia: The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a condolence message to the Government and people of the Republic of India following the death of more than Twenty-Five (25) persons as a result of an open fire by terrorist on tourist in the mountainous destination of Pahalgam in India-administered Kashmir.   

According to a Foreign Ministry release, in the message to his Indianan counterpart, H.E. Narenda Modi, the Liberian President, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, expressed profound sadness and deep sorrow and extended deepest condolences to the Indian leader, and through him, to the Government and people of India, especially the bereaved family for the irreparable loss sustained.

“We add our voices to condemn all acts and practices of terrorism which cannot be justified under any circumstances. It is our fervent hope that Your Excellency and the people of India will find comfort, fortitude and endurance during this difficult period of National morning”, President Boakai said.
