…..After Battling Covid-19

The Bishop of the Action Chapel International, Derek Nunekpeku, has encouraged staffers of the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of Liberia to cultivate the culture of hard work.

Bishop Nunekpeku who is in charge of Deliverance at the Ghanaian based worship center said, working in the office of the Vice President must not however be in honor of man but God who he believes, is the ultimate provider.

Honest work is something God hopes from all of us. God’s words tell us that working honestly, but with faith in mind, can lead to the great things he has planned for us”, the Visiting Ghanaian Bishop emphasized, referencing the book of Colossian 3:20 in the Holy Bible.

He urged the VP staffers to remain dedicated and continue to go beyond sacrificing their service to the general interest of all.

In his brief exaltation to the staff Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at the Office of the Vice President, Bishop Nunekpeku pointed out that “salaries which everyone works for, is a curse while income remains a blessing.”

He wants the staffers to acknowledge God as their major source of income in all that they do in life.

Bishop NuneKpeku is the head of delegation of the Action Chapel International, who accompanied Liberia’s Vice President Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor back to Liberia following her advanced medication in Accra, Ghana nearly two months ago.

He offered special prayer for the office and anointed the staffers, urging them to develop a strong relationship with God.

Also speaking, VP Howard-Taylor, who was in attendance of the regular morning devotion, cautioned staffers to give their life to Jesus Christ.

‘Where are you going after life? The most important thing as a human is to live a truthful and dedicated life for God; we must take God seriously, let God be the center of each of us lives.’ Madam Taylor encouraged her staffers.

Speaking earlier, the Chief of Staff, George T. Nimely thanked the religious delegation for the time and the special prayers offered for the office and the Vice President while undergoing treatment in Ghana.

Bishop Nunekpeku  is a member of the religious team  of Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor’s spiritual father, Archbishop Nicolas Duncan Williams, founder and general overseer of the Action Chapel International, Accra, Ghana.
