The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC’s) Liberia office has dispelled rumors of the release of results of the 2021 WASSCE for School Candidates results, terming such rumors mostly trending on social media, as the handy work of unscrupulous and criminal minded individuals.
The Head of WAEC Liberia, Dale G. Gbotoe confirmed to Women Voices yesterday that in a statement earlier issued by the Management of the Liberia National Office of WAEC, the Council termed as false, malicious, and devilish, news trending on the social media that it has released the 2021 WASSCE for School Candidates results.
Gbotoe maintained that WAEC Liberia categorically states that the results for all examinations administered in 2021 have not been released and is therefore calling on the public not to give credence to what the Council terms fictitious information being released on social media by individuals whose intent WAEC Liberia says is geared toward bringing the Council’s Monrovia Office to disrepute.
A statement released on Wednesday by WAEC Liberia, indicated that the Secretariat of the Monrovia Office of WAEC condemns and distances itself from such malevolent and unwarranted act and calls on those involved to immediately desist or will be made to face the full weight of the law.
Meanwhile, the Management of WAEC wishes to inform the public that activities leading to the release of this year’s WASSCE for School Candidates results are being concluded and admonishes all to exercise patience.
