Residents of Caldwell, Bushrod Island Montserrado county, were astonished by the dreadful situation surrounding the attempted murder of Jessica Lloyd, a young LIberian, by a foreign national (American) identified as Lucas Richard.

Eyewitness told this paper that during the evening hours of Thursday, September 14, 2023, they suddenly saw Lucas Richard  when he pulled Jessica Lloyd from his vehicle, and mercilessly cut her from her neck, but a KeKe rider quickly intervened, and saved her.

Immediately, they disclosed that Lucas Richard escaped the scene, but was later caught by the police.

Lucas Richard has been arrested by the Liberian National Police.

Meanwhile, as revealed by Jessica Lloyd‘s mother, Lucas Richard and her daughter have been lovers for months, and he earlier proposed to marry her, but this didn’t materialize because he has his wife.

Besides, it was even more complicated because he insisted that he needed Jessica Lloyd to be his second wife, despite the fact that he’s not a Muslim, nor an African.

But prior to that, Jessica Lloyd’s mother informed newsmen that she (Jessica) became pregnant for Lucas Richard and after he was informed, he didn’t hesitate.

Weeks later, it was said that Jessica Lloyd lost the pregnancy, after she was unknowingly injected by Lucas Richard.

Arguably, this doesn’t appear strange, especially considering several other murders and attempted murder cases, which women have suffered.

About a week ago, Samuel Yanqae Porte, a 49 year old man late Saturday, September 2, 2023, mercilessly murdered his 40 year old partner Sarah Y. Morris, after a reported death threat earlier the same day, because she cooked cassava leaf soup, knowing that he doesn’t like it.

“I saw the man with the cutlass in his hands, he had bag, then I asked Samuel what happened, I said it was the children that called me, what happened, he said old ma, your daughter know that I can’t eat cassava leaf, then she go cook cassava leaf, she can’t respect me,” she noted.

The victim was unmercifully chopped by her partner Samuel Yanqae Porte, on her head, neck, and other parts of her body, at their Porte Hill residence, in Crozierville, Montserrado County.

As established by the victim’s mother, Ma Musu Cox and other family sources, she (The victim) escorted her daughter late that night to attend to nature, but surprisingly got engaged by the murderer, who chopped her several times.
