Organization Background
The Liberia Crusaders for Peace (LCP) is a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) established in May 1994, and officially registered in 2001 under the laws of Republic of Liberia. The accreditation certificate # is MPEA/NGO /AC# 0755, TIN # 500122235, and Business Registration Certificate (BRC) # 050963896.
LCP aims among other things, to advance development efforts and interventions of peace-building, health education and promotion, democracy and rule of law, advocacy for the rights of women and children, social justice and inclusive governance, youth and women development and empowerment, arts and cultural activities promotion, adolescent girls life-skills, traditional interventions and promoting behaviour change. LCP utilizes appropriate traditional communication channels through advocacy, social mobilization and community engagement, communication for development (C4D), and humanitarian interventions. .
Purpose of the Bid/Service
LCP, with funding from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) through the European Union (EU), is leading the implementation of the Child Protection EU Spotlight Initiative on Social-economic Empowerment and Prevention Awareness on SGBV/SEA/HP in around schools and communities in Nimba, Grand Gedeh and Lofa Counties. The program specifically seeks to contribute to addressing barriers to women and girls realizing their rights to SRHR, and ensuring that they live a life free of violence and all forms of Harmful practices (HPs) while strengthening community-based women and youth groups to advance awareness on Sexual Gender-based Violence (GBV), Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), Harmful Practices (HP) and other forms of violence against women and children. The duration of the program is five-months. Key activities to be executed include trainings, meetings, support to adolescents and child protection groups, monitoring and evaluation, mapping, surveys and field visits. To ensure successful implementation of the program, the Liberia Crusaders for Peace invites the submission of Bid from companies specialized in the provision of the below services mentioned in the table below.Lot Service Description Qty. Interested bidders must have the capacity to:
o Pre-finance the task described in this bid documento Meet schedule and deadline and adjust to changing conditions that may influence the implementation of the activities; ando Readily put its personnel at the disposal of the responsible person at the Liberia Crusaders for Peace upon request for service provision
Requirements for submission: Provide company profile Copy of company’s valid Business Registration certificate Copy of valid Tax Clearance Certificate PPCC vendors registration form, Ministry of Transport Eligibility Certificate (Vehicle Rental Service Only) Ministry of Health Certificate (Catering Service Only) Past performance records- including the names and contact numbers of at least three clients; and Other relevant documents that show the company legality to operate in Liberia and for provision of service required in this Biding category. Important Information about this Bid Full completion of the “Bid Response” document in order that your quotation may be regarded as compliant. Bid returned not completed may be treated as void. One original and two hard photocopies of Bid document should be submitted on company’s letterhead; Bid should be delivered in a sealed envelope addressed to The Bid Committee at the below address. The envelope should indicate the reference number, but have no other details relating to the bid. Deadline for the submission of bid is 1:00pm Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders who choose to attend or their representatives on April 21, 2021 starting @ 2:00 pm in the conference room of LCP. Please be informed that LCP is under no obligation to award to the lowest bidder.
One bidder will be selected per lot with which a Framework Agreement will be signed for the provision of the requested service for the period of the program herein mentioned. All interested eligible bidders may obtain copy of the bid documents from the headquarters of Liberia Crusaders for Peace located at the address above.
