Dear Women of Liberia,
As the former Vice President of Liberia and the first female to hold this unique position, I am filled with pride and joy as we come together to observe International Women’s Day 2024. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the incredible strength, resilience, and achievements of women worldwide, including those right here in Liberia.
To all the women of Liberia, I want to express my heartfelt congratulations on this special day. Your dedication, perseverance, and unwavering spirit have helped shape our nation and inspire future generations of women to dream big and achieve even bigger.
International Women’s Day is not only a time for celebration but also a moment for reflection. It is a time to acknowledge the progress we have made in advancing gender equality and women’s rights, while also recognizing the work that still liesahead. We must continue to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and empower women from all walks of life to reach their full potential.
I am confident that with the collective strength and determination of women in Liberia, we can overcome any obstacle and create a more inclusive, equitable society for all. Let us stand together in solidarity, support one another, and uplift each other as we strive for a brighter and more prosperous future.
