-As he kills 11-year-old boy in Nimba

NIMBA COUNTY- -An 18-year-old boy is wanted for allegedly shooting and killing an 11-year-old boy in Zarzahn Town, District #9, Nimba County.

T-boy Dickson, allegedly shot and killed his 11-year-old brother, Emmanuel Dickson with a short single-barrel gun, causing his death on Monday, November 6, 2023.

According to information gathered from the grandfather, Mr. Mc-Dickson Borgor a visually impaired, reported that on Monday about 2:00pm, T-boy Dickson and his brother, Emmanuel Dickson usually returned from school and entered the room to change their uniforms.

Mr. Dickson said while sitting on the porch sleeping, his wife was cooking in the kitchen, adding that after eating the entire area got quite thus thinking that T-boy and Emmanuel have left for the farm.

He noted that at about 3:30pm he heard gun firing sound inside the house and followed by a loud crying of people including his wife calling for help.

Sharing details during investigation conducted by Women Voices Newspaper Correspondent, Merphy Gboyea, a resident of Zarzahn, stated that after arriving at the scene he saw the 18-year-old with the lifeless body of the deceased playing with his intestines attempting to put it back in his stomach.

Gboyea further told reporter that, T-boy Dickson after realizing hi brother, the 11-year-old death, he immediately dropped the body and jumped into the bush with a short single barrel gun, threatening to kill anyone who will attempt to go after him in the bush.

At the same time, authorities of the Liberian National Police in Nimba County have arrested and investigating the uncle of the alleged shooter, Cyrus Dickson for being in possession of a long single barrel gun with empty shell in his room at the same house where  the killing occurred.

The police have meanwhile launch citizens manhunt for the murder suspect in the bush as investigation is ongoing into the discovery of firearm, promising to update the public once findings are concluded.
