-Say Liberia can’t be fixed without the involvement of the church.

With less than sixty days to the most anticipated October 10, 2023 general elections, the opposition Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) has received another huge endorsement, intrinsically from spiritual leaders.
A group of pastors under the banner, “The Gospel of the Liberty and ministerial friends of the Liberty Party” on Monday, endorsed the presidential bill of the CPP leader Alexander B. Cummings, by confirming their support to Cllr. Charlyne Brumskine in the ensuing election.
The occasion held August 14, 2023 at the Grace Outreach Ministry in Red Light brought together over six hundred pastors from different denominations, to give their support to the CPP.
In the overview of the occasion, the pastors revealed that the pastoral endorsement is driven by the faith pastors and churches had in the founding father of the Liberty Party, who they believe could transform Liberia because he was a God fearing man who had a very good relationship with the church.
They stressed that the Liberty Party was founded on the foundation of the church, because every founding member of the Liberty Party were all pastors who signed the resolution to form the Party.
In addition, the clergymen said, the name of the party “Liberty Party” was revealed through divine interaction with God, following a period of 21 days of fasting and prayer at which time the church consulted God for the name to be revealed.
“It was after 21 days of fast and prayer that the lord revealed the name of the church. Therefore, anyone coming in contact with the liberty party will have the blessing of God,” they said, and also emphasized that the CPP is blessed because of the Liberty Party.
Earlier at the occasion, it was stated that the church is of the conviction that the true leadership ability of the founder of the Liberty Party, Cllr. Charles Walker Brumskine has transient to his daughter Cllr. CharlyneBrumskine, who they believe can assist the CPP leader Alexander B Cummings to deliver Liberia and fix it.
“It is because of the Charlyne that we the ministers of the Gospel, and friends of the Liberty party have come to give our support to the CPP,” Rev. Steve Elliot started
At the same time, Rev. Charrie G. Addy, said that no group of people can fix Liberia without the involvement of the church.
Therefore, if anyone wants to fix Liberia, he noted that said person must put the church first in their doing by going for the blessings of the church. He added that if Liberia must be fixed, God must be the first in all.
Moreover, they stated that the church is the place where leadership comes from and if the church does not provide direction for leadership and leave it to the society to decide, the church and the nation will suffer the consequences thereof.
As such, the pastors said it’s time the church wake up and direct the affairs of the state. “Until the nation can be born out of the church, the church will suffer.”
From her end, the vice standard bearer of the CPP and the person in whose honor the endorsement was held, Cllr. Charlyne Brumskine lauded the “The Gospel of the Liberty and ministerial friends of the Liberty Party” for their endorsement, and described it as a partial fulfillment of her father’s cream for the presidency.
She referenced that at the beginning of her father’s political career at the presidential level, he consulted the church for its blessings.
“This is the partial fulfillment of the father’s cream for the presidency because at the beginning of my father’s political career at the presidential level, he consulted the church for its blessings.”
Cllr. Charlyne Brumskine continued by stating that it is because of the blessing of the church the liberty party is still moving and serving as one of the biggest political party despite the internal dispute.
“Because the Liberty Party was founded on the principle of the church, there is no internal dispute can break the party apart. The Liberty Party will always solve internal dispute because of the blessings of God upon the party.”
She asserted that during the 2005, 2011, and 2017 the liberty party without the favor of international community like the madam Sirleaf Unity Party and the crowd favor of the celebrates CDC, the Liberty Party was always a force to combat because of the blessings of the church.
The CPP vice standard-bearer further urged, “The Gospel of the Liberty and ministerial friends of the Liberty Party” to transform the endorsement into votes to ensure that the CPP wins the elections.
She added that if the conditions of the people must change, the people must be willing to vote for change that will fix the country.
Moreover, she started that the CPP government headed by she and Cummings will empower the people, by providing jobs for everyone who is qualified to work by bringing in investors that will transform the economy.
She went on by denying allegations against Alexander B Cummings that he is a gay, stating that he is not a gay and the church should support him because he is a man of God and a son of a priest.
Cllr. Brumskine clarified that allegations against the CPP leader is the making of the wicked opposition because they don’t want anything good for Liberia. Asserting that Cummings is the liberator of Liberia from its poor state of being.
She urged that the CPP is the only way forward for the development and improvement of Liberia and its people, therefore, they must not be carried by the lies against Cummings and the CPP but must vote for the CPP to transform and fix Liberia.
